WHAT MAKES EPIC STEEL DIFFERENT?
It starts with the components.
EPIC uses Zinc-Plated Magnum Steel combined with our purpose-built Extreme Patterning Wad to help control the shot column and produce dense, evenly distributed patterns.
This isn't ordinary bulk steel ammunition.
EPIC Magnum Steel was developed through extensive range, pattern and field testing with one goal:
BUILD A BETTER-PATTERNING STEEL LOAD.
EXTREME PATTERNING WAD
The wad is a critical part of any steel load.
EPIC's Extreme Patterning Wad was selected to complement our Zinc-Plated Magnum Steel payload and help deliver consistent shot distribution downrange.
1 3/16 OZ. 1,450 FPS. BUILT TO PATTERN.
PATTERN PERFORMANCE
In EPIC testing, this load has produced 96%+ patterns inside a 30" circle at 30 yards with multiple choke combinations.*
Don't just take our word for it—watch the patterning video and see the results on paper.
*Pattern performance varies by firearm, barrel, choke and individual load. Always pattern your shotgun with the ammunition and choke combination you intend to hunt with.

IMPORTANT
Steel shot may not be appropriate for some older or vintage shotguns. Always follow the firearm manufacturer's recommendations regarding ammunition, steel-shot and choke compatibility.
If you have an older or vintage shotgun, have it evaluated by a qualified gunsmith before using modern steel-shot ammunition. EPIC Bismuth and Copper King loads may provide alternatives for firearms where steel shot is not appropriate.
