THE HEAVYWEIGHT OF THE EPIC UPLAND LINE

Pheasant. Chukar. And other legal upland game.

Some hunts call for more payload.

That's exactly why we built the EPIC 3" Magnum Lead.

With a full 1 1/2 oz of nickel-plated #5 Magnum Lead traveling at 1,290 FPS, this shell gives the 12-gauge hunter a heavy payload without sacrificing the pattern quality and consistency we demand from EPIC ammunition.

When late-season birds are flushing farther, conditions get tougher, or you simply want the confidence of a heavier payload, this is the load to reach for.

WHY MAXIMUM-HARDNESS LEAD?

Not all lead shot performs the same.

Softer lead pellets can deform under the forces generated during ignition and acceleration. Pellet deformation can negatively affect aerodynamic consistency and contribute to pellets leaving the primary pattern.

EPIC starts with maximum-hardness Magnum Lead designed to better maintain pellet integrity throughout the firing cycle.

Rounder pellets. More consistent flight. Better pattern potential.

NICKEL-PLATED #5 MAGNUM LEAD

We take our premium Magnum Lead and go one step further with nickel-plated #5 shot.

The result is a smooth, consistent pellet surface combined with the hardness and uniformity we want from a premium magnum hunting load.

It's another example of our philosophy at EPIC:

Every component matters.

THE EPIC CLASSIC MAGNUM WAD

A 1 1/2 oz magnum payload demands a wad capable of handling it.

EPIC's Classic Magnum Wad was selected to work with this heavy payload to help protect the shot and produce the dense, uniform patterns expected from premium hunting ammunition.

Combined with carefully selected components and consistent loading, the Classic Magnum Wad helps us get the most from every ounce of this load.

1 1/2 OUNCES AT 1,290 FPS

That's the heart of this shell.

A heavy payload of premium #5 nickel-plated Magnum Lead combined with the velocity necessary to deliver dependable downrange performance.

For hunters who prefer a 12 gauge and want a serious magnum upland load, EPIC delivers.

CLASSIC MATERIAL. MAGNUM PERFORMANCE.

Lead has proven itself in the uplands for generations.

We didn't try to reinvent it.

We built a better load around it.
