EPIC Shotshell introduces the next generation of the custom stacked shotshell with EPIC TNT.
Loaded with a total 1 1/2 oz stacked payload consisting of 1 1/4 oz of EPIC High Tensile Bismuth and 1/4 oz of Tungsten TSS, TNT combines two premium shot materials into one purpose-built waterfowl load.
Paired with EPIC's Full Length Magnum Wad, TNT is designed to provide barrel protection, increased pellet count and consistent patterns across a wide variety of waterfowl hunting situations.

Each combination provides a different balance of pellet size, pellet count and downrange energy, allowing hunters to choose the TNT load that best fits their waterfowl hunting conditions.
WHAT MAKES TNT DIFFERENT?
TNT isn't simply a standard shotshell with two different types of shot mixed together.
EPIC developed the complete load around the unique requirements of a stacked Bismuth + TSS payload.
At the heart of the system is EPIC's Full Length Magnum Wad, designed to provide maximum barrel protection for the TSS while controlling the entire 1 1/2 oz payload.
The tighter overall wad design combined with a two-slit, pre-cut configuration helps control the payload as it exits the barrel, allowing the shot column to remain together longer before separating downrange.
The result is a purpose-built stacked load designed around payload protection, pattern consistency and pellet distribution.

So what makes EPIC TNT different?
It starts with an extensive search for the right materials, followed by science, data, development and testing.
TNT combines EPIC's High Tensile Bismuth with the exceptional density and pellet-count advantages of Tungsten Super Shot.
The Bismuth provides the majority of the heavy 1 1/2 oz payload, while the smaller TSS component adds extremely dense pellets to the pattern.
Together, they create a stacked load that combines pellet count, pattern density and downrange energy in a single shell.

ONE SHELL FOR CHANGING WATERFOWL CONDITIONS
TNT was developed for hunters who don't want to change ammunition every time the situation changes.
A duck may finish directly over the decoys—and minutes later, a goose may present a considerably longer opportunity outside the spread.
The goal of TNT is to provide a versatile combination of close- and longer-range pattern performance from one shell.
EPIC's Full Length Magnum Wad was developed to perform especially well across approximately 20 to 60 yards, depending on the shotgun, choke, shot combination and hunting conditions.
During EPIC testing, birds have also been taken at distances beyond 80 yards. This is a testing observation rather than a recommended hunting distance. Hunters should always stay within their demonstrated shooting ability and the proven effective range of their individual firearm, choke and ammunition combination.
CHOKE RECOMMENDATIONS
Pattern testing is extremely important with a stacked Bismuth + TSS load.
During EPIC testing, Carlson's Cremator chokes have produced excellent results with TNT.
Every shotgun and choke combination can pattern differently, so we strongly recommend patterning your individual firearm with TNT before hunting.
Don't automatically assume the tightest choke will produce the best pattern. Test your setup and let the target tell you what your shotgun prefers.
MORE PELLETS ON TARGET
The combination of EPIC High Tensile Bismuth and Tungsten TSS provides an increased pellet count compared with relying entirely on larger bismuth pellets in the same total payload.
The smaller, denser TSS component adds additional pellets to the pattern while the Bismuth provides the majority of the payload.
The goal is simple:
GREAT PATTERNS. INCREASED PELLET COUNT. MORE PELLETS ON TARGET.
LOWER RECOIL. MORE CONTROL.
TNT is developed with manageable recoil in mind despite its heavy 1 1/2 oz stacked payload.
Reduced barrel rise can help you stay on target and recover more quickly for follow-up shots, keeping you ready when multiple birds work into the spread.
Actual felt recoil will vary depending on firearm weight, stock design, fit and other factors.
