LIGHTER PAYLOAD. EXTREME VELOCITY. TSS PERFORMANCE.
EPIC Shotshell introduces the next generation of TSS Tungsten Waterfowl ammunition with the Speed Demon—a high-velocity 12-gauge load built around a 1 oz TSS payload traveling at 1,550 FPS.
The Speed Demon combines the exceptional density and pellet count of TSS with increased velocity, EPIC's full-size High Impact Wad, and carefully selected components to create a fast, consistent waterfowl load.

WHY THE “SPEED DEMON”?
The concept behind the Speed Demon is simple:
COMBINE THE DENSITY OF TSS WITH SERIOUS VELOCITY.
At 1,550 FPS, the Speed Demon is built for hunters who prefer a fast waterfowl load without giving up the pellet-count advantages of Tungsten Super Shot.
Instead of relying on a heavier payload, EPIC uses a carefully developed 1 oz TSS load to provide high pellet counts while helping keep recoil manageable.
HIGH PELLET COUNT. 1 OZ PAYLOAD.
The exceptional density of TSS allows the Speed Demon to put a substantial number of pellets into a relatively lightweight 1 oz payload.
Approximate pellet counts:
#8 TSS — 254 Pellets
#9 TSS — 355 Pellets
That combination gives the Speed Demon the pellet count needed for dense patterns while maintaining its signature 1,550 FPS velocity.
Pellet counts are estimates and may vary slightly based on pellet diameter, material tolerances and individual payload.
BUILT TO PATTERN
Speed means very little without pattern consistency.
In EPIC testing, the Speed Demon produced 89%+ patterns inside a 30" circle at 30 yards.
The combination of TSS, carefully controlled payload weights and EPIC's High Impact Wad is designed to maintain consistent pellet distribution despite the load's increased velocity.
Actual pattern performance will vary by shotgun, choke and shot size. Always pattern your individual setup to determine the best choke and ammunition combination for your firearm.
WHY EPIC TUNGSTEN TSS?
So what makes EPIC TSS different?
It starts with an extensive search for the right materials, followed by science, data, development and testing.
While the density of tungsten shot may be similar among comparable TSS products, EPIC takes additional steps during pellet selection and load development to emphasize pellet consistency, payload consistency and repeatable pattern performance.
EPIC TSS is developed more like a precision competition load, combining carefully selected tungsten pellets with purpose-built components to produce the tight, consistent patterns we demand from premium waterfowl ammunition.
NOT ALL TSS LOADS ARE BUILT THE SAME.
EPIC HIGH IMPACT WAD
The Speed Demon features a full-size High Impact Wad designed to provide maximum barrel protection while controlling the dense TSS payload as it travels through the barrel.
At 1,550 FPS, wad performance becomes an especially important part of the complete load.
EPIC's High Impact Wad is paired with the Speed Demon payload to help provide barrel protection, payload control and consistent downrange patterns.
LOWER PAYLOAD. MANAGEABLE RECOIL.
The Speed Demon uses a 1 oz payload, helping control recoil while still taking advantage of the exceptional pellet density of TSS.
Reduced barrel rise can help you stay on target and recover more quickly when a follow-up opportunity presents itself.
Actual felt recoil will vary depending on firearm weight, stock design, fit and other factors.

IMPORTANT
Always use ammunition appropriate for your firearm and follow the firearm manufacturer's recommendations regarding ammunition and choke compatibility.
Do not assume modern ammunition is appropriate for an older or vintage shotgun based solely on gauge and chamber length. If you have an older firearm, contact the EPIC shop with questions and have the firearm evaluated by a qualified gunsmith before using modern ammunition.
Always pattern your shotgun with the exact ammunition and choke combination you intend to hunt with.
