In EPIC testing, this load produced 90%+ patterns inside a 30" circle at 30 yards using multiple choke combinations.
The combination of dense TSS, carefully controlled payload weights and our full-size High Impact Wad is designed to provide consistent pellet distribution and repeatable patterns.
Actual pattern performance will vary by shotgun, choke and shot size. Always pattern your individual setup to determine the best combination for your firearm.

The exceptional density of TSS allows a substantial number of pellets to be loaded into a relatively efficient 1 1/8 oz payload.
Approximate pellet counts include:
#7 TSS — 212 Pellets
#8 TSS — 285 Pellets
#9 TSS — 400 Pellets
That combination of pellet density, pellet count and pattern performance gives the 20 gauge capabilities that would be difficult to achieve with conventional shot materials.
Pellet counts are estimates and may vary slightly based on pellet diameter, material tolerances and individual payload.

This load features a full-size High Impact Wad designed to provide maximum barrel protection while controlling the dense TSS payload as it travels through the barrel.
With premium tungsten ammunition, the wad is a critical component of the complete load.
EPIC pairs its TSS payload with a wad system designed around barrel protection, payload control and consistent downrange patterns.

The 1 1/8 oz payload provides an efficient balance between pellet count, performance and manageable recoil.
Reduced barrel rise can help you stay on target and recover more quickly when a follow-up opportunity presents itself.
