UPLAND & WATERFOWL IN ONE SHELL
EPIC developed this load around versatility.
Our Classic Magnum Wad is paired with a 1 1/8 oz High Tensile Bismuth payload to produce consistent pattern density for close- to medium-range hunting situations.
It's an excellent option for:
- Pheasant
- Ducks
- Geese
- Dove
- Pigeons
- Clays
For hunters who own a 2 1/2" 12 gauge, ammunition choices can be limited. This load was developed specifically to provide a premium bismuth option for that platform without sacrificing payload or versatility.
WHY EPIC HIGH TENSILE BISMUTH?
Conventional bismuth can be brittle and susceptible to pellet damage during loading and firing.
EPIC High Tensile Bismuth is engineered for increased durability while maintaining the density and non-toxic characteristics that make bismuth an excellent alternative to traditional lead shot.
Combined with our Classic Magnum Wad, consistent payload weights and carefully selected components, the result is a premium bismuth load designed around pattern quality and repeatability.
LOWER RECOIL. MORE CONTROL.
This load was developed to produce up to 25% less recoil than other 2 1/2" alternatives, helping reduce barrel rise and making it easier to recover for follow-up shots.
Actual felt recoil will vary depending on firearm weight, stock design, fit and other factors.

TESTING & FIREARM COMPATIBILITY
Only use this ammunition in safe firearms properly chambered for 2 1/2" 12-gauge ammunition and suitable for the pressure of the load.
Do not assume that a shotgun is safe for modern ammunition simply because it has a 2 1/2" chamber. This is particularly important with older and vintage shotguns.
If there is any question regarding the condition, chambering or pressure limitations of your firearm, have it inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing modern ammunition.
