WHY 1 1/4 OZ OF COPPER?

Because payload weight doesn't tell the whole story.

Using #4 shot as a comparison:

#4 Bismuth – 1 3/8 oz: approximately 212 pellets
#4 Copper – 1 1/4 oz: approximately 222 pellets

1/8 OZ LESS PAYLOAD. APPROXIMATELY 10 MORE PELLETS.*

Copper King's combination of pellet count and material density allows EPIC to build a lighter 1 1/4 oz payload without giving up pellet count.

Then we launch it at:

1,450 FPS

The result is a fast, high-pellet-count load engineered around velocity, pattern density and downrange performance.

*Pellet counts are approximate and may vary based on actual pellet dimensions, material composition and manufacturing tolerances.

THE EPIC TERMINAL COPPER PELLET

Copper King isn't simply conventional round shot made from a different material.

EPIC's Terminal Copper Pellet incorporates several purpose-built features:

Ultra-Polished Copper
The individual Terminal Copper Pellet is approximately 99.9% copper with a smooth exterior designed to promote stable flight and consistent patterns.

Ballistic Saturn Cutting Ring
A circumferential ring incorporated into EPIC's Terminal Copper Pellet design.

Dual Dead Zones
Located at the top and bottom of the pellet as an integral part of the Terminal Copper design.

Durable Copper Construction
Designed to maintain pellet integrity through the firing cycle and upon impact.

The complete shot payload consists of approximately 98% Copper and 2% Bismuth.

EPIC MAGNUM WAD

EPIC's Magnum Wad was selected to complement the 1 1/4 oz high-velocity Copper King payload and help produce dense, evenly distributed patterns across practical hunting distances.

THE GOAL IS SIMPLE: PUT MORE PELLETS WHERE THEY MATTER.

PATTERN PERFORMANCE

In EPIC testing, Copper King has produced 96%+ patterns inside a 30" circle at 30 yards with multiple choke combinations.*

*Pattern performance varies by firearm, barrel, choke and individual load. Always pattern your shotgun with the ammunition and choke combination you intend to hunt with.

BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP

EPIC began researching and developing Copper King in 2023.

Our goal wasn't simply to build another non-toxic shotshell. We wanted to combine a purpose-built copper pellet, high velocity, high pellet count and premium components into a completely different approach to non-toxic ammunition.

The result:

1 1/4 oz Payload.
1,450 FPS.
High Pellet Count.
Terminal Copper Technology.
EPIC Magnum Wad.

EPIC COPPER KING

LESS PAYLOAD. MORE #4 PELLETS THAN OUR 1 3/8 OZ BISMUTH COMPARISON. 1,450 FPS.

HIGH VELOCITY COPPER PERFORMANCE.

IMPORTANT

Always use ammunition appropriate for your firearm and follow the firearm manufacturer's recommendations regarding ammunition and choke compatibility.

If you have an older or vintage shotgun, have the firearm evaluated by a qualified gunsmith before using modern ammunition.

Hunters are responsible for confirming that the ammunition, shot material and shot size selected are legal for the species, location and hunting method involved.
