A circumferential ring is incorporated into the pellet as part of EPIC's proprietary Terminal Copper design.

Located at the top and bottom of the pellet, the Dual Dead Zones are another integral feature of the Terminal Copper Pellet.

One of the advantages of Copper King is the ability to achieve a high pellet count without requiring a heavier payload.

For example, using #4 shot as a material comparison:

#4 Bismuth – 1 1/8 oz: approximately 172 pellets
#4 Copper – 1 oz: approximately 178 pellets*

That's approximately 6 additional pellets from a payload that's 1/8 oz lighter in this comparison.

This combination of pellet count and payload weight is one of the reasons EPIC believes copper has tremendous potential as a premium non-toxic shotshell material.

IMPORTANT

Always use ammunition appropriate for your firearm and follow the firearm manufacturer's recommendations regarding ammunition and choke compatibility.

This ammunition should not be assumed compatible with every older 16-gauge shotgun simply because it is a 2 3/4" load. Older firearms can vary considerably in chamber dimensions, barrel construction, condition and ammunition requirements.

If you have an older or vintage shotgun, have the firearm evaluated by a qualified gunsmith before using modern ammunition.
