MORE PELLETS. LESS RECOIL.

EPIC Shotshell introduces the next generation of non-toxic shotshell performance with COPPER KING.

Copper King was engineered to provide an excellent combination of pellet count, pattern density, terminal performance and manageable recoil—making it an outstanding choice for young hunters as well as experienced hunters who simply prefer a lighter-recoiling 20 gauge.

At the heart of the load is EPIC's Terminal Copper Pellet, manufactured from ultra-polished 99.9% copper and designed to fly consistently while delivering dependable terminal performance.

THE EPIC TERMINAL COPPER PELLET

This isn't conventional round shot.

Every EPIC Terminal Copper Pellet incorporates several purpose-built design features:

• Ultra-Polished 99.9% Copper
A smooth, consistent exterior designed to promote stable flight and uniform patterns.

• Ballistic Saturn Cutting Ring
A circumferential ring engineered into the pellet design.

• Dual Dead Zones
Located at the top and bottom of the pellet as part of EPIC's terminal-performance design.

• High-Tensile Copper Construction
Engineered for durability while remaining suitable for its intended shotshell application.

TRUE MAGNUM WAD SYSTEM

Copper King isn't just about the pellet.

EPIC's TRUE Magnum Wad was selected specifically for Copper King to help protect the payload and produce the combination of pattern density and uniformity we wanted from this load.

The result is a 20-gauge shell designed to produce an even, dependable pattern across practical hunting distances.

PELLET COUNT ADVANTAGE

One of Copper King's biggest advantages is putting more pellets into the payload without requiring a heavier load.

Example comparison:

#4 Bismuth – 7/8 oz: approximately 135 pellets
#4 Copper – 3/4 oz: approximately 155 pellets*

That means approximately 20 additional pellets from a payload that's 1/8 oz lighter in this comparison.

More pellets give the hunter greater pattern density while the lighter payload helps us produce the reduced-recoil characteristics we wanted for For The Kids.

*Pellet counts are approximate and can vary with pellet size, material and manufacturing tolerances.

BUILT FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

Copper King has been in development at EPIC since 2023.

Our goal wasn't simply to produce another non-toxic shotshell. We wanted a shell that combined premium components, excellent pattern performance and manageable recoil at a price that makes sense for families taking young hunters into the field.

Because some of the best memories aren't made sitting at home.

They're made in a blind, beside a parent, grandparent, family member or mentor.

Take a kid hunting. Keep the tradition alive.
