BUILT FOR WINGSHOOTING

Copper King isn't just about velocity.

It's about putting enough pellets into a consistent pattern to give the shooter confidence when a bird changes direction, a covey erupts without warning or a clay crosses faster than expected.

With a full 1 oz payload traveling at 1,400 FPS, this load was developed around the characteristics wingshooters want:

Fast velocity.
High pellet count.
Consistent patterns.
Manageable recoil.
Premium components.

That's what makes this Copper King load equally at home in the dove field, quail woods or on the clay range.

THE EPIC TERMINAL COPPER PELLET

Copper King isn't simply conventional round shot.

EPIC's Terminal Copper Pellet incorporates several purpose-built features designed around pellet flight, durability and terminal performance.

ULTRA-POLISHED 99.9% COPPER

The smooth, consistent pellet surface is designed to promote stable flight and uniform patterns.

BALLISTIC SATURN CUTTING RING

A circumferential ring is incorporated into the Terminal Copper Pellet as part of EPIC's proprietary pellet design.

DUAL DEAD ZONES

Located at the top and bottom of the pellet, the Dual Dead Zones are another integral feature of the Terminal Copper design.

DURABLE COPPER CONSTRUCTION

Copper King uses a durable copper pellet designed to maintain pellet integrity throughout the firing cycle and upon impact.

THE EPIC TRUE MAGNUM WAD

Great shot still needs the right delivery system.

EPIC's TRUE Magnum Wad was selected to complement our Terminal Copper payload and help produce dense, evenly distributed patterns across practical wingshooting distances.

At the same time, the system is designed to maintain pattern uniformity at closer ranges where dove, quail and clay targets can appear quickly.

The goal isn't simply a tight pattern.

It's the right pattern.

COPPER PELLET-COUNT ADVANTAGE

One of Copper King's major advantages is the ability to produce a high pellet count without requiring an unnecessarily heavy payload.

For example, using the same nominal #4 pellet size as a material comparison:

#4 Bismuth – 1 1/16 oz: approximately 163 pellets
#4 Copper – 1 oz: approximately 177 pellets*

That's approximately 14 additional pellets from 1/16 oz less payload in this comparison.

That combination of pellet count and payload weight is one of the reasons we believe copper has tremendous potential in premium shotshell ammunition.

*Pellet counts are approximate and may vary based on actual pellet dimensions, material composition and manufacturing tolerances. This #4 comparison illustrates material/pellet-count differences and does not represent the #6 or #7 shot offered in this load.

PATTERN PERFORMANCE

In EPIC testing, Copper King has produced 96%+ patterns inside a 30" circle at 30 yards with multiple choke combinations.*

That's the kind of pattern density we wanted when developing a premium high-velocity wingshooting load.

*Pattern performance varies by firearm, barrel, choke and individual load. Always pattern your shotgun with the ammunition and choke combination you intend to use.

WHY COPPER KING?

EPIC began researching and developing Copper King in 2023.

Our goal wasn't to put another conventional round pellet into a hull and give it a new name.

We wanted to develop a different approach to premium shotshell ammunition.

That meant looking at the entire system:

• Terminal Copper Pellet

• Ultra-Polished Copper

• Ballistic Saturn Cutting Ring

• Dual Dead Zones

• TRUE Magnum Wad

• High Velocity

• Consistent Components

• Precision Loading

Every component has a job.

Together, they make Copper King.

FROM THE DOVE FIELD TO THE CLAY RANGE

Some of the best shooting doesn't require the heaviest payload.

It requires the right combination of speed, pellet count and pattern.

That's exactly what this load was built to deliver.

EPIC COPPER KING

1 oz. 1,400 FPS. Premium Copper Performance.

Dove. Quail. Clays.

When the shot matters, make it EPIC.

IMPORTANT

Always use ammunition appropriate for your firearm and follow the firearm manufacturer's recommendations regarding ammunition and choke compatibility.

If you have an older firearm, contact EPIC or a qualified gunsmith before using modern ammunition.
