1 3/8 OZ AT 1,400 FPS

This is where Copper King separates itself.

EPIC combines a full 1 3/8 oz payload with a muzzle velocity of 1,400 FPS, creating a high-velocity 12-gauge load built for serious non-toxic performance.

But velocity is only part of the equation.

The real advantage comes from combining:

High Velocity.
High Pellet Count.
Terminal Copper Shot.
Extended Range Wad Technology.
Consistent Components.

Everything works together as a complete system.

MORE PELLETS IN THE SAME PAYLOAD

One of Copper King's biggest advantages is pellet count.

Using #4 shot and the same 1 3/8 oz payload as a comparison:

#4 Bismuth – 1 3/8 oz: approximately 212 pellets

#4 Copper King – 1 3/8 oz: approximately 266 pellets

THAT'S APPROXIMATELY 54 MORE PELLETS.

Or roughly 25% more pellets in the same 1 3/8 oz payload.*

More pellets give the shooter additional pattern-building potential without increasing payload weight.

*Pellet counts are approximate and may vary based on actual pellet dimensions, material composition and manufacturing tolerances.

THE EPIC TERMINAL COPPER PELLET

Copper King isn't simply conventional round shot made from a different material.

EPIC's Terminal Copper Pellet incorporates several purpose-built features designed around pellet flight, durability and terminal performance.

ULTRA-POLISHED COPPER

The individual Terminal Copper Pellet is manufactured from approximately 99.9% copper and finished with an ultra-polished surface designed to promote stable flight and consistent patterns.

BALLISTIC SATURN CUTTING RING

A circumferential ring is incorporated into the pellet as part of EPIC's Terminal Copper design.

DUAL DEAD ZONES

Located at the top and bottom of the pellet, the Dual Dead Zones are another integral feature of the Terminal Copper Pellet design.

DURABLE PELLET CONSTRUCTION

Copper King uses a durable copper pellet designed to maintain its integrity through the firing cycle and upon impact.

98% COPPER • 2% BISMUTH

The complete Copper King shot payload consists of approximately:

98% Copper Pellets
2% Bismuth Pellets

This is separate from the composition of the individual Terminal Copper Pellet itself, which is approximately 99.9% copper.

EPIC EXTENDED RANGE WAD

Premium shot deserves a delivery system built around it.

EPIC's Extended Range Wad was selected specifically to complement the Copper King payload and help produce dense, evenly distributed patterns across practical hunting distances.

The goal isn't simply to make a tight pattern.

IT'S TO PUT MORE PELLETS WHERE THEY MATTER.

PATTERN PERFORMANCE

In EPIC testing, Copper King has produced 96%+ patterns inside a 30" circle at 30 yards with multiple choke combinations.*

Don't just take our word for it.

*Pattern performance varies by firearm, barrel, choke and individual load. Always pattern your shotgun with the ammunition and choke combination you intend to hunt with.

BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP

EPIC began researching and developing Copper King in 2023.

The goal wasn't to create another conventional non-toxic shotshell.

We wanted to rethink the entire system—from pellet design and material to payload, velocity, wad technology and pattern performance.

The result is Copper King.

IMPORTANT

Always use ammunition appropriate for your firearm and follow the firearm manufacturer's recommendations regarding ammunition and choke compatibility.

Do not assume modern ammunition is appropriate for an older or vintage shotgun based solely on gauge and chamber length. If you have an older firearm, have it evaluated by a qualified gunsmith before using modern ammunition.

Always pattern your shotgun with the ammunition and choke combination you intend to hunt with.

Hunters are responsible for confirming that the ammunition, shot material and shot size selected are legal for the species, location and hunting method involved.
