BUILT FOR DUCKS & GEESE
EPIC developed this load specifically for waterfowl hunters who want a heavy 1 1/4 oz payload from the 20-gauge platform.
Our Long Range Wad is paired with EPIC High Tensile Bismuth to help maintain pellet integrity and produce dense, consistent patterns downrange.
The result is a 20-gauge waterfowl load that delivers a combination of payload weight, pellet density, pattern performance and manageable recoil.
WHY EPIC HIGH TENSILE BISMUTH?
So what makes EPIC Bismuth different?
It starts with an extensive search for the right materials, backed by science, data, development and testing.
Traditional bismuth can be brittle and susceptible to pellet damage during loading and firing.
EPIC High Tensile Bismuth is engineered for increased pellet durability while maintaining the density and non-toxic characteristics that make bismuth an excellent alternative to traditional lead shot.
By helping the pellets maintain their integrity during firing, our High Tensile Bismuth is designed to produce tighter, more consistent patterns and dependable downrange performance.
NOT ALL BISMUTH IS CREATED EQUAL.
EPIC LONG RANGE WAD
A premium payload deserves a wad designed to get the most from it.
EPIC's Long Range Wad was selected specifically for this load to provide excellent shot protection and help maintain consistent pellet distribution as the shot travels downrange.
Paired with our 1 1/4 oz High Tensile Bismuth payload, it creates a serious waterfowl combination in the 20-gauge platform.
BLENDED SHOT OPTIONS
This load is available in two carefully selected blended-shot configurations:
#2/4 Blend
Combines larger and smaller bismuth pellets in a single payload to balance pellet size and pellet count.
#2/4/6 Blend
Adds #6 Bismuth to further increase pellet count while maintaining larger #2 and #4 pellets within the payload.
Both options were developed specifically around the demands of duck and goose hunting.
LOWER RECOIL. MORE CONTROL.
Despite its heavy 1 1/4 oz payload, this load is designed to provide manageable recoil from the 20-gauge platform.
Reduced barrel rise can help the shooter recover more quickly and stay on target for follow-up shots—especially when those opportunities happen fast.
