EPIC Shotshell introduces the next generation of the 20-gauge custom stacked shotshell with EPIC TNT.
Loaded with a total 1 1/4 oz stacked payload consisting of 1 full oz of EPIC High Tensile Bismuth and 1/4 oz of Tungsten TSS, TNT combines two premium shot materials with EPIC's Long Range Wad to produce a high-pellet-count load designed around dense, consistent patterns and serious downrange performance.

WHAT MAKES TNT DIFFERENT?
TNT isn't simply two different shot materials thrown into the same shell.
EPIC developed the complete load around the unique characteristics of a stacked Bismuth + TSS payload.
The combination of EPIC's High Tensile Bismuth, dense Tungsten TSS and our Long Range Wad is designed to control the 1 1/4 oz payload and promote even pellet distribution downrange.

EPIC LONG RANGE WAD
At the heart of this load is EPIC's Long Range Wad.
The wad is specifically paired with the stacked 1 1/4 oz Bismuth + TSS payload to help control and protect the shot column as it travels through the barrel.
When combined with the increased pellet count provided by TSS, the Long Range Wad helps TNT produce the dense, even patterns this load was developed around.

So what makes EPIC TNT different?
It starts with an extensive search for the right combination of materials, followed by science, data, development and testing.
EPIC TNT combines our High Tensile Bismuth with the exceptional density of Tungsten Super Shot.
The Bismuth makes up the majority of the payload, while the smaller, extremely dense TSS pellets add additional pellets to the pattern.
That gives the 20 gauge a heavy 1 1/4 oz payload with a combination designed to increase pellet count while maintaining strong downrange performance.

CHOKE RECOMMENDATIONS
During EPIC testing, the 1 1/4 oz and TNT loads have tended to perform particularly well with ported chokes.
A Kicks High Flyer Modified was used during testing and produced excellent results.
Every shotgun can pattern differently, however, and choke performance can change with shot size and load configuration.
We strongly recommend patterning your TNT load through multiple choke constrictions before hunting.

TNT is designed to deliver its heavy stacked payload while maintaining manageable recoil.
Reduced barrel rise can help you stay on target and recover more quickly for follow-up shots—an important advantage when multiple birds work into the spread.
Actual felt recoil will vary depending on firearm weight, stock design, fit and other factors.
MORE PELLETS ON TARGET
One of the primary advantages of combining Bismuth with TSS is the ability to add extremely dense, smaller pellets to the payload.
Instead of relying entirely on larger Bismuth pellets, the 1/4 oz TSS component increases the total pellet count, adding additional pellets to the pattern.
Combined with EPIC's Long Range Wad, the goal is straightforward:
